Shayna Leib began working with glass at California Polytechnic State U, where she received a BA in philosophy and minored in glass an literature. She continued her study of glass and completed her MFA at the Univeristy of Wisconsin. Shayna uses glass for its most unique properties: the ability to flow, the capacity to freeze a moment in time and its inherent manipulation of optics. Shayna was awarded first place in SOFA’s Horizon Emerging Artists Award, and sells in prestigious galleries around the US.
